If you are like me, you will probably also have been surprised by the amount of work that goes into creating an email template. One of the first things I found out is that is was important to add links, embedded throughout the email template, in order to make sure people found my company. I have discovered that it is much better to have only a few different highlighted points, so if people want to go to your page they have that option. If you have a company logo for example, it would be nice to embed a link back to your website in the picture of that logo. What is also practiced alot, is embedding links in the news and sale sections of your website. I also make sure that I include a text link at the bottom of the email so clients do not have to scroll back up to the top of the email to find the link.

White space is gold in any project. It's the frame that sets off where people are supposed to look and the same goes for email design. It's professional to leave a lot of your email clear so that you content has its chance to pop for your client. This helps me to ensure that the email template construction appears professional and not as if I am soliciting people, begging them, to purchase items from my website. Often clients feel intimidated by overly aggressive emails, so many times it is reassuring for them to communicate to you trough an honest connection. For this reason, it is crucial that I clearly organize all aspects of my email marketing templates to actively reach out to individuals and do what I can to get them to visit my website.
